Law of Attraction

What ever you focus on you draw towards you.

This is true whether you focus on positive or negative. I have seen both forces respectively succeed during my lifetime.

If you want to feel a sense of control in your life, focus on what you want.

A close friend of mine had his wife leave him, and she moved in with another man, then she filed for and got a divorce. Throughout the entire time these events were happening, my close friend was focused on keeping his marriage together. His focus was so concentrated that throughout the physical separation and actual divorce process, he planned his renewal of wedding vows to his wife. He set the vow renewal date, reserved the church, booked the musicians, and planned the reception. He methodically went through each step needed for a renewal of vows ceremony. Meanwhile, his once wife, then ex-wife, decided that she didn't like her new boyfriend, missed her child and her husband, so she rejoined the family to participate in the renewal of vows. That was over ten years ago. They are still together.

Alternatively, a family member decided that his life was a disaster and that he would be better off without his wife of 15 years or their 7 children with one more on the way! Regardless of what anyone said or did, his focus was a separation culminating in a divorce. He got his way! He neglected to focus on much after that, but his ex-wife did! She remarried and is very happy today.

What you focus on is what you attract
